In a world where rebellion is obsolete, Easy Listening music is without a doubt the most subversive sonic genre to come along since Gregorian Chants - much more effective than overt propaganda, i.e. hymns and national anthems, Easy Listening has the ability to reprogram the brain and body so that after repeated pummeling the listener identifies implanted messages and commands as his own notions.

Female DJ's, mostly the half of a DJ-duo.

A much esteemed cooperation on lost of easy listening parties. Example: the Easy Aloha's, The Intuners (DJ's Karin en Aad) and The Kaminsky Experience. (a London DJ-duo).

Easy House

A future current, house-music with all the atmosphere characteristics of easy listening.

Tuneful, easy listening hum along songs.

Easy Tune

Collective noun for new and progressive easy listening, amongst others popcorn and exotica. In Holland frequently heard at party's.

Exotica

Easy listening with a tropical influence and the obscure Hammond organs. Example: Martin Denny and Esquivel.

Gold-digging

A much occupied hobby where one looks for secondhands records.

Indigo Club

A weekly lounge club at Madam JoJo, London.

James Last

An old prick who often, by mistake, is connected with easy tune. Makes muzak (see muzak), which is used at party's as fuel for ritual bonfire.

Le Hammond inferno

From Berlin touring racial easy listening club.

Retro-trend, extreme easy music. Example: Burt Bacharach, Ray Conniff, Mantovani.

Mike Flowers

Interpretator pur sand and singer of the band Mike Flowers Pops. Occupies himself exclusive with the production of covers and medley's. Hitted the charts in England right on number 2 with his cover of the Oasis' song 'Wonderwall'. Standardbearer of the cheesy listening movement.

Dutch for colorless elevatormusic which has nothing to do with easy tune.

Popcorn

From origin Belgian current. Cosy, comfortable dancemusic.

Towa Tei

Former Dee-Lite DJ, now a days succesfull as solo-artist with his CD 'Future Listening'. Represents together with Pizzicato Five the Japanese branch of easy listening.
